Save the Date: O’Neill Forum on health and student achievement – March 29

The Whole Child,” a documentary on the impact of student health and wellness in Nebraska schools, debuts 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 29 at O’Neill High School.

The 30-minute film explores how schools in Nebraska empower academic achievement and enhance students’ ability to learn by taking care –physically and mentally – of the whole child inside the classroom and out to provide access and resources for all children – especially those most at-risk.

Immediately following the film, there will be an on-air panel discussion that will focus on how the greater community can work together to provide support for students in O’Neill and the surrounding communities.

This film and its accompanying panel discussion are part of a special event series between News Channel Nebraska and Nebraska Loves Public Schools. The event is free and open to the public.
